Fall Preschool Curriculum: Adapted for Students with Special Needs
We’re excited to announce our new fall curriculum, which explores the joys of fall through sensory exploration, literacy, math, art, gross and fine motor learning, music, and more!
Each day has a new book recommendation. These are some of my fall favorites! Because I work with children who have language delays, I often will pick one book for the week! The reason for this is that repetition helps build language. By the end of the week, they will be helping you ready the book!
Each day also includes daily art projects. Here’s a fun one for bringing the beauty of fall indoors!
Each day comes with gross motor learning activities such as acorn hiding and fall yoga! Yoga helps with imitations skills that build language, emotional regulation, and gross motor skills! Teaching yoga early on set children up for success by teaching them how to move, breathe, and to handle stress in healthy ways!
Each day also includes a hands on learning activity for literacy, math, science, fine motor, and sensory! Here’s a fun fall activity for fine motor!
